Almost Showtime for the Last Winter Weather NAIAS on last Winter NAIAS

Workers detail the Chevrolet Silverado exhibit today as it is being prepared for the NAIAS at Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. Silverado sales at 161,178 dropped – 3.6% in Q4 and were flat for 2018 at 585,581.

The North American International Auto Show show opens for media previews and industry days next Monday. The show opens to the public January 19. It’s the last year for a dreary Detroit winter weather show. Next year the 2020 NAIAS moves to June, starting the week of the 8th.

“The ability for participating brands to deliver dynamic exhibits and experiential opportunities outside of the show’s four walls for attending journalists, industry members and consumers, will provide new avenues to showcase the products and technologies on display. Delivering greater ROI through reduced costs and dynamic opportunities will be a key aspect of the future show,” claims the show, which has been struggling because of the Consumer Electronics Show this week in Las Vegas, and web enabled vehicle shoppers who can spec and buy at home.
