Their preliminary conclusion is that the compensation of Carlos Ghosn, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Renault and the conditions under which such compensation was approved followed applicable law as well as the recommendations of the *AFEP-MEDEF. Ghosn as chief executive of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance is now under fire. Ghosn retired from the highest job at Nissan last year, but remained heading the world’s largest automotive alliance, saying he planned on staying until 2020.
